phd in process:
exploring the edge of discipline

The second issue of the series PHD IN PROCESS is titled Exploring the Edge of Discipline calling to mind the expansion of the boundaries of disciplines followed by the research paradigms scaffolding them. This issue includes several papers hoping to present a kind of retrospective of PhD students’ research process in relation to given thematic framework. All papers are broadly aimed at exploring interdisciplinarity and connecting mutual influences between two or more disciplines. The outcome of this issue is to call for thinking across boundaries and for more cooperation as new questions emerge.

We thank and acknowledge all teachers and mentors for their guidance: Vladimir Mako, Aleksandar Ignjatović, Vladimir Lojanica from the University of Belgrade – Faculty of Architecture, and Luka Skansi from the University of Rijeka, Department of Art History.
